MEET THE MAKERS

Kooshoo was founded by Jesse and Rachel, husband and wife yoga teachers living in Canada. Their goal is to help people feel good. Kooshoo's core values are honesty, transparency and love. Their mission is to uplift every person involved in the making of their products.

Kooshoo means feeling good in Norfuk, a small Island in the South Pacific where Rachel comes from. 

The founder's priority was to find a production partner that is both certified and audited regularly and has the Fair Trade and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) accreditation. After months and months of samples and multiple visits to India, they found the perfect cut & sew facility, owned and operated by nuns.

For more than 25 years the women have been making locally grown, organic cotton garments.  

Jesse has been to their facility twice in the past year, working closely with the Sisters and their team of local creators.
